She was predeceased by: her parents, Giuseppe Avella and Chiara Avella (Dimitrio); and her husband James King. She is survived by: her children, Maria Mullins of Trenton, TN and David King of Milan, TN; her grandchildren, Joshua Mullins of Humboldt, TN, Eric King of Aurora, CO and Morgan King of Milan, TN; and her great grandchildren, Bronson Dunbar of Milan, TN, Khole King of Aurora, CO and Monroe Dunbar of Milan, TN..

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the New Beginnings Pentecostal Church (1231 S Lexington St, Trenton, TN 38382). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at the Oakland Cemetery (798 S Brownsville St, Trenton, TN 38382).
