He was predeceased by : his father Robert Eugene Powell; and his son David Powell. He is survived by : his children, Savannah Powell and Stephen Powell; his mother Nyoka Jean Metzinger; and his siblings, Roger Powell (Sandy), Michael Powell (Debbie), Jackie Parlow, Juston Powell, Marlon Powell (Denise) and Sally Arnold (Chuck). He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
