As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Sam may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Murbert Doaks, Sr. and Jerlene Moore Doaks; his sisters, Leila Mae "Cricket" Sharp and Sara Elizabeth Triplett; and his grandson Damian Thomas.
He is survived by: his sister Annie Lewis Green. He is also survived by his 7 children, 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren & 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Baskerville Funeral Home - Trenton (431 E 4th St, Trenton, TN 38383). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the New Springhill MB Church (620 Gibson Rd, Trenton, TN 38382).
