He was predeceased by: his parents, William Leander Scott and Ella Bernice Smith Scott; his children, Donna Scott Nilsson and William Timothy Scott; and his brother Glen Scott.
He is survived by: his wife Tena Dowdy Scott of Trenton, Tennessee; his son David Scott (Sonja) of Newbern; his grandchildren, Harlie Lane Vanwormer (Mattheu), William Trey Scott, Victoria Grace Roberson, Sarah Kristen Roberson and Hunter Aaron Elijah Roberson; and his great grandchild Daniel Roberson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Johnson-Williams Funeral Home (239 E Main St, Newbern, TN 38059).
