He is survived by: his mother Caroline Parks Harris of Los Angeles, California; his wife Lara Fitzgerald Harris of Trimble, Tennessee; his children, Emerson Harris (Christine) of Marietta, Georgia and Alexandra "Zaz" Harris of Redwood City, California; his sister Heather Harris (Kut Ingham) of Van Nuys, California; and his grandchildren, Dexter Alexander Harris and Ashlynn Harris.
