He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Russell Sanders and Mary Sue Fields Sanders; his daughter Angie Dawn Sanders; and his siblings, Maylyn Moore, Roberta Marshall and Steve Sanders.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Johnson Sanders of Trimble, Tennessee; his son Tony Sanders of Lewisburg; his siblings, Russell Sanders of Frederica, Robert Sanders of Finley, Tennessee, Linda Haynes of Lewisburg and Ronda Hollingsworth of Holladay, Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Derek Sanders of Trimble, Zach Burchfiel of Russellville and Halee McKenna Sanders of Hayti. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
