He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Buck (Mandie) of Troy, Cher Key (Jason Hewitt) of New Iberia, Louisiana and Jerome Key, Jr. (Crystal) of Oklahoma; and his brothers, Ronnie Skinner (Janice) of Florida, Donald Skinner (Bev) of Alabama and Dennis Skinner (Becky) of Alabama. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
