With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Monya Sanders of Troy, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, L. E. Maloney and Lucille Maloney; her husband James Baxter Sanders; her siblings, Gates Maloney (JoAnn) and Wanda Fleming (Joseph); and her sister-in-law Rubye English (Jimmy).
She is survived by: her son Mike; her daughter-in-law Sherry Sanders (Clift) of Troy; her daughter Paula; her son-in-law Tim Smith of Troy; her grandchildren, Graham Sanders Smith of Troy, Kacee Sanders of Nashville and Jodee Sanders Boldt of Homer, Alaska; and her great grandchildren, Bennet Reynolds of Nashville, Osmund, Einar and Iris Boldt of Homer, Alaska. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family requests that memorials be made to Troy Methodist Church or Reelfoot Rural Ministries.
