He is survived by: his wife Mary Shumake of Tullahoma; his children, Barbara Ashley of Estill Springs, Beverly Hix of Tullahoma, Cathy Blackburn (Bill) of Tullahoma and Dan Ricketts of California; his grandsons, Ricky Livington (Krystal) of Tullahoma, David Livingston (April) of Winchester, Johnny Cates of Tullahoma and Arthur Armstrong of Tullahoma; and his siblings, Billy Howard (Frances) of Shelbyville, Jerry Howard (Lucille) of Tullahoma, Donnie Howard (Becky) of Tullahoma and Brenda Mathis (Cecil) of Tullahoma.
