He was predeceased by: his father Jesse Malcom Shealy; his stepmother Stella Shealy; and his siblings, Alma Cumalander, Mildren Turner, Judy Cumalander and Donald Shealy.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Rolman Shealy; his daughter Melody Gillam (Keith); his sisters, Frances Bower (Bryan), Martha Jo Wicker and Vivian Cameron; and his grandson Kyle Gilliam.
