He was predeceased by: his parents, Onman Hice and Florence Hice (Shoemaker); his wife Mary Frances Sanders Hice; his son-in-law Steve Branch; his grandson Joseph Stafford; and his siblings, Dorothy Admiral, Tommy Hice, George Hice and Kenneth Hice.
He is survived by: his daughters, Betty Branch, Bobbie Steverson (James) and Bonnie Stafford (Jerry); his grandchildren, Adam Branch (Christy), Justin Dunn, Olivia Branch and Jerry Lee Stafford (Michelle); his great grandchild Kevin Stafford; his great great grandchild Violette Stafford; and his brothers, Parker Hice, Charles Hice and James Hice. He is also survived by his family as an animal.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moore-Cortner Funeral Home (300 1st Ave NW, Winchester, TN 37398). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flower memorial contributions may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
