She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Dudley Martin, Sr. and Kathleen Morse Martin; her husband Oscar Odell Strickland; and her sisters, Wanda "Fluff" Sherrill and Donna Gail Martin.

She is survived by: her son Jeff Strickland (Kim); her brother Andrew D. Martin, Jr.; her sister-in-law Brenda Joyce Strickland; her cousin Linda Martin Tate; her close friends, Darlene Buckner, Katrina Northcutt, Beth Thoma, Holly Snow, Daniel Ramirez and Jean Emmett; and her pet Petey.

For those who wish, Joyce requested that donations in lieu of flowers be made to Faith Lutheran Church Daycare, 101 Bragg Circle, Tullahoma, TN 37388.
