He is survived by: his mother Coretta Vaughn Smith of Memphis; his wife Ariel McGee Vaughn; his children, Kortez Daniel Vaughn, Jr. and Karmella Tálei Vaughn; his siblings, Karl Edward Parson, Jr., KeAira Owens, Matthew Parson and Martin Parson; his grandmother Flora Vaughn; his mother-in-law Elder Sernobia McGee; his sister-in-law Alexandria McGee; his stepparents, Darrell Smith and Missy Parson; and his aunts, Tiffany Wright and Keva Baugh. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews.
