He was predeceased by: his father Karl Edward Parson, Sr.; and his grandparents, Grover Bush Vaughn and Julia Richardson. He is survived by: his mother Coretta Vaughn Smith of Memphis; his wife Ariel McGee Vaughn; his children, Kortez Daniel Vaughn, Jr. and Karmella Tálei Vaughn; his siblings, Karl Edward Parson, Jr., KeAira Owens, Matthew Parson and Martin Parson; his grandmother Flora Vaughn; his mother-in-law Elder Sernobia McGee; his sister-in-law Alexandria McGee; his stepparents, Darrell Smith and Missy Parson; and his aunts, Tiffany Wright and Keva Baugh. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church (301 S Washington St, Tullahoma, TN 37388). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
