He is survived by: his father Eugene Matkins; his wife Laura; his sisters, Amy Huckwell (Gary) and Cindy Caldwell; his daughters, Kelly North (Robert), Kristin Ray and Rebecca Ray; his grandchildren, Hunter Myers, Dillon Myers (Caroline), Mikalah Sims, Aubrey North, Kaleel Burnett, Kalaiya Barnes and Keelee Burnett; his great grandchildren, Rylee Myers, Walker Myers and Charlotte Myers; his nephew Thomas Cates (Kimmie); his great-nephew Malachi Cates; his great-niece Maylee Vada Cates; and his pets, Bentley, Max and Snowball.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kilgore Funeral Home (215 Mitchell Blvd, Tullahoma, TN 37388). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
