He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Roy and Pearl Marie Tackett; his siblings, Lee Roy Jr. Tackett (Bobbie), Joanne Meadows (A. D.) and Dot Crawford (Harold); his former wife Sue Ann Tackett; his son Jimmy Tackett; and his granddaughter Karrie Ann Arthur.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Tackett; his children, SuEllen Davis (Troy), Terry Tackett (Karen) and Jerry Tackett (Cheyenne); his sister Sherry Collum (Richard); his grandchildren, Samantha Childers, Allie Mann, Abby Willis, Meg Tackett, Tricia Tackett, Kyle Tackett and Erica Walk; and his great grandchildren, Jackson Arthur, Macie Arthur, Cireya Mann and Anna Jeanne Childers.
