She was predeceased by: her son Mike Patterson; her parents, Walter Henson of Stewart and Fannie Kilgore (Dendy); her stepfather John L. Kilgore of Greenwood; and her brother Mickey Henson of Portland, Texas..
She is survived by: her husband Jim N. Patterson; her daughters, Jean Shearer (Rusty) of College Grove and Jeannine Lynn (James) of Thompsons Station; her daughter-in-law Sandra Patterson of Knoxville; her sister Nancy Kilgore of Brandon; her stepsister Yvonne Middleton of Eupora; her grandchildren, Laura Starkey (Seth) of Starkville, Drew Patterson of Brooklyn, Hunter Patterson (Kathryn) of Knoxville, Jonathan Lynn of Murfreesboro, Chelsea Peck of Franklin, Rebecca Morrow (Parker) of Murfreesboro and Matthew Shearer of College Grove; and her great grandchildren, Sam Starkey, Charles Starkey, Elizabeth Starkey of Starkville, Beau Morrow and John Morrow of Murfreesboro.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Church of Christ (1200 Cedar Ln, Tullahoma, TN 37388). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to French Camp Academy One Fine Place in French Camp, Mississippi 39745-9703.
