He is survived by: his wife Thelma Boring; his daughters, Rhonda Boring and Ellen Nicholson (Keith); his stepdaughters, Sonya Bramlett, Theresa Abercrombie (Lynn) and Rayetta Elrod (Lee); his granddaughters, Katherine Mello (Rob) and Abby Nicholson (Tim Bellows); and his brothers, Donald "Bones" Boring and Harold Boring.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Akins-Cobb Copperhill Chapel (823 Ocoee St, Copperhill, TN 37317). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
