She was predeceased by: her parents, Clemer Padgett and Elsie Burger Padgett; her husband Leon Gibson; her son Victor "Vic" Gibson; and her brother Dennis "Bud" Padgett.
She is survived by: her grandson Nicholas Gibson; her daughter-in-law Denette Gibson; and her sister Mary Millholland.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Akins-Cobb Copperhill Chapel (823 Ocoee St, Copperhill, TN 37317). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Copperhill Chapel.
