In loving memory of Harley Furman Bryant Jr. of Unicoi, Tennessee, who departed this world on September 27, 2025 at the age of 87. Harley leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Furman Bryant, Sr. and Mary Ruetta Bryant (Howell); his sister Faith Bryant; his nephew Mark Shipley; his uncle Curtis Howell; and his brother-in-law Dr. Terry Broom.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Mariee Bryant (Fain); his daughters, Cynthia Reneé Garland, Constance Bryant Fairchild and Ashley Kaye Mumpower; his grandchildren, Brandon Stewart Garland, John Benjamin Fairchild, Audrey Mariee Fairchild, Silvan James Mumpower and Elora Isobel Mumpower; and his sister Hope Rose.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Valley Funeral Home (1085 N Main Ave, Erwin, TN 37650). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 1:50 PM at the Roselawn Memory Gardens (3033 S Roan St, Johnson City, TN 37601). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Furman's name to Shriner's Hospital for Children, 950 W Faris Rd., Greeneville, SC 29605.
