He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Brownlow and Gracie McClellan Banks; and his siblings, Jay, Harvey Banks and Maybell Birchfield.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Moore Banks; his sisters, Bonnie Bowman, Bea Holtsclaw and Jenny Wiseman; and his half-brother Nelse Banks. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
