He was predeceased by: his parents, Phil Hawkins and Edith Tinker Hawkins. He is survived by: his wife Betty Hopson Hawkins; his sons, Gregory Alan Hawkins (Kim) of Woodstock, GA and Shawn Michael Hawkins of Unicoi; his grandchildren, Gage, Drew and Katelyn Hawkins; and his siblings-in-law, James Hopson (Linda), Wayne Hopson, Doyle Hopson (Shannon), Don Hopson (Glenda), Bobby Hopson, Gary Hopson (Shari) and Cynthina Hopson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Unicoi Funeral Home (4428 Unicoi Dr, Unicoi, TN 37692). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at the Roselawn Memory Gardens (3033 S Roan St, Johnson City, TN 37601).
