It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rudy Garland of Unicoi, Tennessee, who passed away on December 1, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stewart Garland and Betty McCurry Garland; and his sisters, Judy Adams and Carol Dula. He is survived by: his wife Celesta Ingle Garland; his children, Carrie Garland and Adam Garland; his grandchildren, Lane Garland and Meredith Garland; his siblings, Dean Garland, Doug Garland (Renee) and Marijane Barron; and his sister-in-law Robin Veitch (Mike). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Unicoi Funeral Home (4428 Unicoi Dr, Unicoi, TN 37692). A graveside service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 1:30 PM and at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer you to go share a meal and spend time with your family, which Rudy loved doing with his family.
