She was predeceased by: her parents, William Burton Nevils and Mabel Easterly Nevils; her husband Robert Francis Ling; and her sisters, Deanne Cook and Bethira Hopson.

She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth "Liz" Ling Brown (Ken) of Rantz, Georgia; her siblings-in-law, Ted Hopson, Joan Ling and Mabel Leung; and her nieces and nephews, Todd Hopson (Sharon), Tim Hopson (Becky), Tasha Daniel (Barry) and Kristina Haury (Trey). She is also survived by several other nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Sandra to the organization of their choice dealing with Alzheimer's, Cancer, Diabetes, Heart Disease or Parkinson's.
