She was predeceased by: her parents, Farmer Asher and Matilda Asher (Brock); her husband Guy Byars; her children, Donnie Brock, Russell Brock, Paul Byars, Paula Counsell and Butch Byars; and her siblings, Myrtle Egan, T. J. Asher, Leemon Asher and Eugene Asher.
She is survived by: her son Leonard "Len"; her daughter-in-law Rhonda Davis of Tallahassee, Florida; her children, Cindy Bynum of Martin, Monty Byars (Mary) of Rives and Lisa Horner (Jim) of Union City; her daughter-in-law Judy Byars of Union City; her siblings, Margie Brock of Witley City, Kentucky, Roscoe Asher of Helton, Kentucky and Earl Dean Asher of Helton, Kentucky; and her adoptive daughter Angie Simbeck. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.
