He was predeceased by: his father Dr. Clarence Carl Schlager, Jr.; and his stepfather William "Bill" Fox. He is survived by: his mother Minnie Emogene Fox (Wright) of Columbia, MO.; his spouse Leigh Bloebaum; his children, Sarah Schlager, Kate Schlager and Brad Schlager of Union City; and his siblings, Dr. Jeff Schlager (Teresa) of Kearney, MO, Tim Fox (Lindsay) of Edwardsville, IL and Marla Clowe (John) of Columbia, MO. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
