She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lewis and Dorothy Ramsey (McBride); and her brother Albert Ramsey. She is survived by: her husband Porter Smith Jr.; her daughter Cynthia Scott (Henry) of Union City; her stepchildren, Beverly Harris of Kenton, William Smith of Union City and Porter Ray Smith of Chicago; her granddaughters, Jennifer Franks (Kyle) and Stephanie VanBrocklin (Kevin); her great grandchildren, Preslie Sturkie, Mason Franks, Rhylie VanBrocklin, Blake VanBrocklin, Kevin, Emilee and Shalynn VanBrocklin; her great great grandchildren, Kenleigh VanBrocklin and Lucas Corona; and her sister-in-law Jeannette Ramsey of Sharon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and cousins.
