He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew and Mary D. Gray (Council); his wife Betty Jo Gray (Childers); and his grandson Daren Gray. He is survived by: his children, Ron Gray (Wanda) of Union City and Gina Hedrick (Jeff) of Union City; his grandchildren, Ryan Gray, C. J. Williams (Shannon) of Union City and Nikki Lilly (Chase) of Counce; his great grandchildren, Ethan Allen of Paducah, Courtland Gray of Seymour, Coleman Gray of Seymour, Sarah Jane Williams of Union City and Avery Lilly of Counce; his siblings, Merry Leip of Union City and Jerry; and his sister-in-law Charlotte Gray of Union City.
