He is survived by: his son Charles Burns (Pam) of Dresden; and his grandchildren, Christina Turner, Melanie Underwood, Larry Burns, Jeremy Hargrove and Amy Davis. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
