Though James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his wife Nita Arnold Simpson; and his children, Steven Simpson (Angie) of Boyle, Brady Simpson (Robin) of Hernando, Mississippi and Mary Audra Smith (Bill) of Milan. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home (1200 S Miles Ave, Union City, TN 38261). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Family suggests that any memorials be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children (https://www.shrinerschildrens.org), St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the charity of the donor's choice.
