She was predeceased by: her parent Ollie Shelly Timmons Beard; her husband Allen Morton; her father Gene Beard; her children, Eric Alan Morton, Stephen Russell Morton, Michael Joe Morton, Sharon Gail Morton-Owens and Monica Darlene Morton; and her siblings, Mary Lee Simmons, J. W. "Bud" Beard, Don Beard, Claude Beard, Dale Beard, Marvin Beard, Wayman Beard, Mattie Beard DeHart and Beverly Beard.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Morton Anderson (Andy) of Zavalla and Elizabeth Morton (Libby) of Dickinson, Texas. She is also survived by her 17 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and many extended family.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM and on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home (1200 S Miles Ave, Union City, TN 38261). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at the Fremont Cemetery (221 W Hwy 22, Union City, TN 38261).
