He is survived by: his daughter Sarah; his son-in-law Steven Cochrum of Union City; his sons, John Guy, Jr. of Martin and Jacob Guy; his sister Marcie; his brother-in-law Sammy Morris of Rives; his brother Thomas; his sister-in-law Patty Guy of Union City; his stepchildren, Tina McIntosh of Springfield, MO, David McIntosh (Gina) of Troy and David Adams (Jessica) of Rockvale, TN; his grandchildren, Coleman Guy, Cora Cochrum, John Guy III, Kris Guy, Killian Adams and Zora Adams; his great grandchild Finn Guy; and his brother Jimmy Zill. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the White & Mahon Funeral Home (225 W Harper St, Troy, TN 38260). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
