She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Scroggins and Laura Scroggins; her husband Johnny Lee White; her daughter Mary Louise White "Tookie"; her siblings, Lougenia Butler, Ellen Boyd, Laura Glynnis New and Thomas "Yoke" Scroggins; her niece Gloria Jean Butler "Glo"; and her great-nephew Mario Muchatt.

She is survived by : her son John Rodney "Litt" (Kelly) of Jackson; her family Louise; her son Adrian Nathaniel White of Flint; her brother Calvin Scroggins "Uncle Tweet"; her granddaughters, Jennifer Lynn White and Michelle Marie Campbell of Jackson; and her great grandchildren, Briston Xavier Armstrong "Butter", Kendall Louise Armstrong, Kendrick Ryland Armstrong and Ethan Alexander Risner.
