It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Anthony Speed (Union City, Tennessee), who passed away on September 10, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Speed and Ophelia Speed. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Speed; his sons, Caleb Speed of Union City, Colton Speed of Nashville and Cody Speed of Nashville; his brother Larry; his sister-in-law Robbie Speed of Union City; his sister Kathy; and his brother-in-law Wendell Cross of Knoxville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday, September 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church - Union City (500 E Church St, Union City, TN 38261).
