He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Lyell (Nichols) of Union City; his children, Donna Matlock (John Pezulich) of Crystal River, Florida and Billy Lyell of Union City; his stepson David Lynch of Brentwood; his granddaughters, Lydia Matlock of Ocala and Jordan Lynch of Puerto Rico; and his siblings, Marshall Lyell and Brenda Arnold (Chuck) of Champaign, Illinois. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
