He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Hunt and Lucille Hunt (Ferrell); his daughter Alicia Thompson; his brothers, Raymond Hunt, Jr., Bobby Hunt and Billy Hunt; and his father-in-law Randall D. "R. D." Pope.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tina Hunt of Union City and Paula Hunt of Union City; his grandsons, Randy Parham and Rick Wilkey; and his sisters, Barbara Hunt of Savannah and Mary Floyd (Jimmy) of Trenton.
