He is survived by: his children, Rachel Riffe (Jeff Riffe) of Union City, Roger Ballog of Union City, Jimmy Ballog (Lauren Ballog) of Clarksville and Ashley Ballog Lang (Joshua Lang) of Union City, Tennessee.; and his grandchildren, Kyle Riffe, Molly Riffe, Elsie Riffe, Tara Lang and Phoenix Lang.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 19th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Meiszner Funeral Home (5624 W Irving Park Rd, Chicago, IL 60634). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, February 19th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Ferdinand Catholic Church (5900 W Barry Ave, Chicago, IL 60634). A burial was held on Thursday, February 19th 2026 at the Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
