He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Earl Phillips and Annette Gibson (French) of Union City; his grandparents, Ed, Winnie French, James and Sophia Phillips; and his cousin Natalie Warner Chappell.
He is survived by: his children, Hannah Phillips Smith (Sequoyah) of Union City and Jordan Britt of Fulgham, Kentucky; his sister Jennifer Phillips Jones of Union City; his stepfather Dan Gibson of Union City; his nephews, Jake Jones of Union City and Colton Jones of Union City; and his parents-in-law, Mike and Kay Britt of Fulgham, Kentucky. He is also survived by several great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home (1200 S Miles Ave, Union City, TN 38261). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
