It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Hoyt Kemp of Union City, Tennessee, who passed away on May 18, 2026, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Waite Hoyt and Thelma Louise Graves Kemp; and his brother-in-law Royce MaGee. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Kemp; his children, Kristen Melanie Kemp, Jonathan Stephen Kemp (Heather) and Shelly Sloan Hobbs (Justin); his siblings, Sandra MaGee, Libby Faulkner (Tim) and Dr. William Jeffrey Kemp (Lisa); his grandsons, Reece McClanahan (Lauren), Jon Nicholas Kemp, Tyler Blake Smith and Warner Levi Hobbs; and his great grandchild Neyland Cole Guinn (Miller June McClanahan).
