He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Calhoun and Azalee Calhoun (Ryan); his wife Bettye Jane Calhoun (Easterwood); his daughter Mitzi Calhoun-Bowlin; his grandson Chris Bruce; and his brothers, Lloyd Everett "Bugs" Calhoun and James Taylor Calhoun.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lynette Calhoun Wagster (Billy) of Martin and Rhonda Calhoun Daniel (Larry "Pug") of Troy. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the White & Mahon Funeral Home (225 W Harper St, Troy, TN 38260). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
