She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Chloye and Bessie Owens (Smith); her spouse Jimmie Lee "Pete" Johnson; her son Jimmy Wayne Johnson; her grandchildren, Jimmy Lee Johnson and Jill Johnson; her siblings, Ann Cook, Nancy Davis, Gene Owens, Cecil Owens, Dale Owens and Elbert Owens; and her sisters-in-law, Easter Owen, Linda Owens, Sharon Owens and Barbara Owens.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Johnson of Kenton and Gail Johnson of Martin; her grandchildren, Jason Johnson (Courtney) of Martin, Melissa Moss (Braden) of Jackson and Jessica Johnson of Nashville; her brothers, David Owens of Union City, Tom Owens of Union City, Chuck Owens of Woodland Mills, George Owens (Molly) of O'Fallon and Jim Owens (Sue) of Gadsden, Alabama; and her sister-in-law Brenda Owens of Union City. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home (1200 S Miles Ave, Union City, TN 38261). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
