It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Dee Barkley of Union City, Tennessee, who passed away on September 17, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Lee Barkley and Alma Nicholson Barkley; his wife Margelene Crouse Barkley; and his sisters, Kate Barkley Pounds and JoAnn Barkley Autry.
He is survived by: his sons, Tony (Benita Barkley) and Britt (Luann Barkley); his grandchildren, Rebecca (Jason Cole), Will (Kara Barkley), Matt (Crystal Barkley), Brian (Kimberly Barkley) and Lynn (Amy Barkley); his great grandchildren, Emiline Barkley, Isla Barkley, Lexi Barkley, Sam Barkley and C. J. Claybrook; his brother Harry Lee; and his sister-in-law Judy Barkley.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the White-Ranson Funeral Home (212 W Washington Ave, Union City, TN 38281). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
