While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Arthur Jackson and Ruby Hicks Jackson; and her husband John Granville Smith Sr.. She was also cherished by Grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Taylor Funeral Home (214 N Main St, Dickson, TN 37055). A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Dickson County Memorial Gardens.

In memory of her Southern Hospitality to always offer food, a donation to the Vanleer Elementary School student food pantry 4456 Hwy 49 West, Vanleer, TN 37181 would be welcomed.
