She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Lewis S. Whitehead; her daughter Wanda Kaye Wilson (Norman); her parents, Charles Cable and Essie Cable; and her siblings, Coy, Ray, Wallace, Troy, Gay, Frank, Charles, Carl, Ted Cable and Jean C. Caldwell.
She is survived by: her children, Phillip Whitehead (Linda), Roger Whitehead and Marilyn Welshan (David); her grandchildren, Scott Whitehead (Shelly), Robert Whitehead, Hope Whitehead, Ashley Odom (Shannon) and Travis Whitehead; and her great grandchildren, Gabriel and Lily Odom. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Rocky Branch Bethel Baptist Cemetery (4502 Rocky Branch Rd, Walland, TN 37886).
