He was predeceased by: his wife Cledith Martin; his grandson Dustin Dunlap; his son-in-law Ronnie Dunlap; and his brother Johnny Martin. He is survived by: his daughters, Sylvia Dunlap, Yvonne Dunlap (Mike) and Missy Martin (Alissa Reeves); his grandchildren, Janet Hutsell (Jason) and Lindsey Huskey (Wesley); his great grandchildren, Isabella, Kamden Hutsell, Jackson, Martin and Marlee Huskey; and his sisters, Linda Martin and Brenda Martin.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Middlesettlements Methodist Church (220 W Broadway Ave, Maryville, TN 37801). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 9:45 AM and at 10:00 AM at the Rocky Branch Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery (4620 Cambridge Rd, Walland, TN 37886).
