He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Thomas and Clara Marie Lowery Humphrey; his son Kevin Young; and his brother Thomas Humphrey. He is survived by: his wife Janice McBride Humphrey; his daughter Katy Hurd; his son-in-law Steve Hurd; his daughter Kim England; his son-in-law Tommy England; his grandchildren, Kayleigh (Robbins) Allen (Dustin), Chelsea (England) White (John), Jake Young, Maddie Hurd, Ellie Hurd and Max Hurd; and his siblings, Eddy Wayne Humphrey (Phyllis), Pam McKay (Henry) and Dotty Pitman (Royce). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
