He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bain and Maebelle Jared Bain; and his siblings, J. K., David, Quinton Bain (Dink), Ruth Goodwin and Clela Wingo.
He is survived by: his wife Reba Mason Bain; his children, Lisa Cheatham (Nathan) and Jonathan Bain (Carol); his grandchildren, Eloisae Patterson (Michael), Vivian Hornsby (Clester), Jessica Jones (Matt) and Rachel Cheatham-McFadden (Kevin); and his great grandchildren, Lillian, Drue, Tyler, Ian and Lucy.
