With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wilma Lela Gooch Cantrell of Walling, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 23, 2026 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Birtie Everette "B. E." Gooch and Effie May Cope Gooch; her husband Harold Loraine Cantrell; her children, Jeffery, Micheal, Craig and Lorie; her grandson Matthew; her siblings, Freeman Russell Gooch (Birdie Ellen Swindell), William Everett Gooch, Fred Gooch (Simone), Rose Gooch and Ila Fisher; RJ Lee.
She is survived by: her son Ralph Cantrell (Peggy); her grandsons, Nick Cantrell (Tiffany), Jeff Cantrell and John Dunn (Kristin); her great grandchildren, Audrey, Cadence, Emily, Gavin, Jocelyn, Keegan, Blaine and Allison; her daughter-in-law Nan Cantrell; her granddaughter-in-law Lori Cantrell; her sisters-in-law, Marion Gooch (Liz), Anna Hillis and Loretta Rigsby; Kathy, James Brymer, Alton, Pearl Marcum, Dewayne Hutchings (Tammy) and Bronson Lee.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donation be made to the Spring Hill Cemetery, 300 Spring Hill Road, Walling, TN 38587-5137.
