He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Rainey; his brothers, Leroy and Marvin Rainey; and his parents, Garvan Rainey and Naomi Rainey (Garner).
He is survived by: his children, David Rainey, Teresa Hart (Bill) and Jeffrey Hart (Terry); his grandchildren, Shane Couch (Jessica) and Shallon Hart; his great grandchildren, Madalynn Robinson, Patience and Blaze Couch; and his sisters, Louise Rainey of Seymour and Charlotte Rainey of Oliver Springs. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
