It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Edward Cheek of Wartrace, Tennessee, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on April 14, 2026, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Cheek and Angeline Overbey Cheek. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Clark Cheek; his children, Jeremy Marcus Bragg and Toshia Gill of Indiana; his stepdaughter Misty Gevedon (James) of Wartrace; and his siblings, Beverly Bentley, James "Jimmy" Cheek (Janice), Kay McQueen, Wanda Balbridge, Donna Proffitt, Richard Cheek, Dalmas Cheek and Eugene Cheek. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great, grandchildren.
