Earl leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Earl’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John William "J. W." Hurt and Sarah Lucille Earls Hurt; his wife Donnetta Hurt; his son Kevin Wayne Hurt (Charlene) of Wartrace; and his sister Jane Dye.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Hillcrest Funeral Home (1802 Madison St, Shelbyville, TN 37160). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
